Purchasing Specialist

Honest Greens, a pioneering restaurant group, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to contribute to its mission of transforming society through wholesome food.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Process Management: Assist with the procurement process, including contract management and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Supplier Verification: Verify suppliers meet specifications and standards required by Honest Greens and ensure delivered goods and services comply with agreements.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and Evaluate Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Purchasing Terms and Conditions: Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
- Contract Compliance: Monitor and enforce contract compliance to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and pricing agreements.
- Supplier Performance Analysis: Conduct supplier performance analysis and competitiveness analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of product quality and consistency.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, pricing, and best practices to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement in the food sector.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of food-related regulations and certifications, strong analytical profile with high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish, advanced English, and French is a must.
