Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Accounting Officer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our expert team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality portfolio accounting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our OPS team to gain in-depth knowledge of portfolio accounting principles and practices.
- Develop expertise in relevant software and our internal accounting platform to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process all life cycle events of our engagements, including creation, review, and distribution of reconciliations and periodic reporting.
- Update client portfolios and vendor data in collaboration with senior management.
- Oversee data flow and comparison between systems to validate output accuracy.
- Liaise with internal account management teams to ensure timely response to senior management inquiries.
- Effectively interact with internal parties, including Compliance and Finance teams.
- Participate in analysis and supervision of profitability, product/client mix, WIP, cost structure, and other key performance indicators.
- Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
- High level of IT literacy, with strong Excel and Word skills.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Knowledge of main accounting software/ERPs.
- High analytical skills, good communication skills, and ability to work independently.
