Job Summary:

The Logistics Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics activities. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing warehouse and logistics processes, managing inventory, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient and effective material and equipment storage and flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Reorder materials and equipment as needed, register them in relevant databases, and inspect, manage, and maintain materials, tools, and equipment in stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery.
  • Inbound Goods and Storing: Coordinate the intake of incoming materials and equipment, check and register for quantity, damages, and completeness, and ensure storing of items at the defined location/warehouse at the right position.
  • Order Handling: Receive and process orders of internal and external customers, select, check, pack, and/or distribute required materials and equipment to customers and to the required location.
  • Outbound Goods and Transport Planning Scheduling: Ensure that goods and materials are transport-ready, including dispatch/delivery papers/notes and accompanying documents for drivers, and support routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer records and requests.
  • Systems and Administration: Execute administrative intake and distribution of materials and equipment in relevant systems, registration of hours, and other relevant logistics administration to provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer relationships, ensuring that all customer requests are handled appropriately to maintain customer confidence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor, measure, benchmark, and evaluate internal and external logistics processes, tools, and systems, initiating and implementing changes and improvements to achieve continuous optimization and alignment of logistics processes, tools, and systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
