About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a talented Junior Environmental Consultant to join our Sustainable Operations team in Barcelona, ES. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical feasibility assessments for air emission abatement systems
  • Perform waste surveys to identify opportunities for reduction or management
  • Develop water optimization projects and studies on wastewater technologies
  • Evaluate environmental conditions and risks associated with transactions (Environmental Due Diligence)
  • Assess compliance with environmental regulations and implement applicable criteria
  • Collaborate with industrial clients to manage expectations and requirements, and help them achieve their sustainability targets
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a Master's in Environmental Engineering
  • High level of English and Spanish, with knowledge of Catalan an asset
  • Understanding of industrial plants and production processes, flow charts, and P&IDs
  • Analytical and hands-on mentality, with a deliver-to-result approach to reporting
