Overview and Objectives
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is at the forefront of the Inno4scale initiative, which focuses on the advancement of innovative algorithms tailored for exascale applications, supported by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.

This initiative aims to pinpoint and finance the most promising innovation projects that enhance both time-to-solution and energy efficiency for exascale applications.

The selected individual will play a crucial role in assisting with the program's management alongside international collaborators.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management, oversight, reporting, and daily operations of the Inno4scale initiative
  • Facilitate dissemination efforts related to the Inno4scale initiative
  • Monitor and advocate for the Inno4scale initiative
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as Business, Science, Engineering, or Technology
  • Required Knowledge and Experience
    • Minimum of one year in project management
    • At least one year in organizing and managing scientific events
  • Preferred Knowledge and Experience
    • Familiarity with the European HPC ecosystem
    • Experience in digital transformation initiatives, particularly within SMEs, is advantageous
    • Background in communication strategies and graphic design is also beneficial
  • Skills
    • Ability to effectively manage personal schedules and work plans
    • Proactive mindset coupled with strong communication abilities
    • Willingness to travel across Europe, occasionally on short notice, for relevant events
    • Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively as needed
    • Proficient in English

Employment Conditions
  • This position is based at BSC within the Operations Department

  • Contract Duration: Open-ended, linked to the technical and scientific activities of the project
