About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our Nespresso Digital and Tech Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our On-Site Retail Technology aligns with our overall Enterprise Architecture and meets the product group strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop architectural designs for Retail Solutions and contribute to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience.
  • Evaluate and select software and hardware product standards and services, as well as design standard and custom software configurations.
  • Define guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
  • Deliver the integration of solutions within the context of Nespresso Boutiques.
  • Identify the organizational impact (e.g., on skills, processes, structures, or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture.
  • Monitor and analyze the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application or misalignment with business requirements.
  • Engage with Tech Leads, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Product Owners, and our Development Practice within and across the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Retail-specific technologies (POS, Fast Ordering, Payment solutions, In-Store stock management, Retail Signage, Queue Management, etc.).
  • Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations.
  • Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization.
