About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Regional Market Development team in the Molecular Biology and Sample Preparation division. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement localized EMEA strategies and marketing programs to support the growth of our assigned portfolio.
  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Market Developers to deliver on growth and revenue objectives.
  • Establish and drive a culture of partnership, teamwork, and positivity to deliver rapid wins in a dynamic market.
  • Develop efficiencies and effectiveness across the team and with the wider group of contacts and partners.
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and aid them in progressing in their careers at Thermo Fisher.
  • Use detailed analysis and regular reporting of regional business performance to determine appropriate actions.
  • Manage regular marketing performance reporting to regional and global partners.
  • Set a regional strategy with the RMDs to define, plan, and implement product launches, price actions, upgrades, and obsolescence of existing products.
  • Advocate for customer-focused marketing activities, working across matrix structures, and enabling cross-BU and cross-division marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Develop and implement customer and market research programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and competitive activity relevant to the product lines and markets served/targeted.
  • Oversee OpEx forecasting and hold overall responsibility for the budget.
  • Work closely with commercial teams and platforms teams to deliver regional revenue targets. Partner with commercial leaders to align marketing/sales strategies.
  • Establish revenue goals for new products in the region by considering the local market conditions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in marketing roles, preferably in the life sciences industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and effectively prioritize tasks to manage a high workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in people leadership will be considered advantageous.
