About the Role

The Senior Quality Manager Energy Storage is a pivotal position within Sonnedix, responsible for overseeing supplier quality management for critical Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) components. This involves enhancing and defining supply contracts for BESS and/or key components, as well as skillfully negotiating technical specifications, production QA scope, and warranty terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously refine the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for BESS, actively managing claims on defects, and collaborating with independent expert parties for production QA and root cause analysis.
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of the entire production QA process, from battery cells to system integration and safety systems, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality BESS to project sites.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Sonnedix's quality and warranty requirements for BESS components and power plants.
  • Support commissioning activities and provide crucial expertise in root cause analysis, performance testing, and warranty claim management.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in BESS technology and supplier quality management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of BESS plant design and proficiency in related key components.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, coupled with hands-on experience in performance testing and warranty claim management.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, complemented by a proactive and well-organized approach.
  • Fluent English, with additional languages a plus (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.).
