Join a dedicated team of cybersecurity experts and contribute to Swiss Re's mission of enhancing global resilience. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute quality assurance strategies for our diverse solution offerings. This encompasses automation, execution, and non-functional testing, all while ensuring the success of our solutions within a DevOps framework. Additionally, you will enjoy a hybrid work model that allows for a balanced approach between remote work and office collaboration.

Team Overview

The Security Team serves as the central hub for all security initiatives at Swiss Re. We lead efforts in cybersecurity engineering, operations, governance, risk management, and compliance. Our team is instrumental in shaping and advancing the company's security strategy. Within this team, the Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) unit oversees the access of B2B partners to Swiss Re's applications and services.

We are seeking a seasoned quality assurance professional to help us refine Swiss Re's B2B Identity & Access Management and API Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and relish the opportunity to innovate and influence new developments.

Key Responsibilities

Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating curiosity and determination in enhancing processes daily. Design and implement features and components within the Customer Identity and Access Management ecosystem. Ensure that technical designs align with architectural standards and fulfill security and quality benchmarks. Validate that solution quality meets expectations for reliability and availability. Contribute to the technical documentation and operational aspects of the solutions.

Qualifications

A strong passion for developing high-quality, secure applications. Over 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in complex projects within large organizations. Proficiency in front-end testing frameworks and automated UI testing development. Familiarity with RESTful backend implementations and associated best practices. Experience in addressing non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, and performance. Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English. Skills in troubleshooting and incident response. Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and related artifacts. A collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with .Net-based backend implementations. Proficiency in complex front-end development using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, particularly Angular. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms. Familiarity with multi-tier and microservice architectures. Understanding of containerization and cloud platforms, such as Azure. Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications in public cloud environments. Familiarity with agile development practices and DevOps, including Infrastructure-as-Code. Experience with transaction-intensive applications. Familiarity with API testing frameworks and databases. ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification or equivalent is a plus.
