As a Cloud Solutions Client Consultant, your main objective will be to enhance subscription licensing revenue for Broadcom by assisting service providers in expanding their service offerings to a broader customer base.

What are the key performance goals for your first year?

  • Collaborate effectively within an international team and diverse work environment.
  • Develop a partner strategy for the Iberian region in conjunction with VMware Cloud Services Sales Partners, with accountability for quarterly sales targets related to VMware solutions, including both perpetual and SaaS offerings across various domains such as compute, networking, storage, security, and cloud services.
  • Establish strong, consultative relationships with partners, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands their business objectives and aligns them with VMware solutions to meet both current and future needs.
  • Comfortably present Broadcom's value proposition, technology offerings, and product roadmaps to various stakeholders, including executives and technical teams.
  • Build solid working relationships with Broadcom specialists, sales leadership, professional services, and Cloud/Hosting Partners.

What will your regular responsibilities include?

  • Travel approximately 30% of the time to meet with and present to current and prospective partners, as well as participate in internal and partner events.
  • Provide technical expertise to help partners understand how Broadcom's solutions can support their business objectives. Design, develop, and promote solutions based on the Broadcom portfolio to address partners' needs.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams, including Client Executives, Product Specialists, Inside Representatives, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management, as well as external partners.
  • Focus on a designated set of partners, emphasizing consumption and outcome-driven sales strategies.
  • Engage in internal collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation abilities, including proficiency in software demonstrations.
  • A solid understanding of business and IT management principles.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • A willingness to travel across Europe as needed (up to 15%).
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture design, implementation, troubleshooting, or operations.
  • Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation Platform and automation solutions, including but not limited to Cloud Director and vRealize Orchestrator.

Additional desirable qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of the Service Provider business landscape.
  • Experience in networking design.
  • Familiarity with next-generation applications.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
