About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Contract Manager to join our team at Amazon Studios in Madrid. As a key member of our legal operations team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of television development and production agreements, including short-form individual services agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Document and manage television development and production agreements, including short-form individual services agreements.
- Manage paperwork and legal processes, advising internal stakeholders on contractual terms and ensuring compliance with contractual and guild requirements.
- Assist with legal operations and process improvements, conducting client trainings and monitoring the status of options over IP rights.
- Liaise with production companies to ensure compliance with production guidelines and legal processes.
- Coordinate with external counsel to review production templates and ensure the execution of key production agreements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a legal department.
- Experience working with third-party contractual relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous in-house legal experience a plus.
