Empresa Reconocida is a pioneer and fast-growing international company that is the worldwide marketplace leader in Wholesale Blank Apparel. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned CTO to manage a mixed internal and remote IT team, using remote vendors to develop and maintain the web e-commerce apps of the corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects, schedules, and tracking the progress of projects and reporting their results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the IT team in board meetings and report to the CEO and board about project status, team performance, and roadmap situation.
  • Collect business requirements from other areas and convert them into feasible technical projects.
  • Define and follow up on a company roadmap based on business milestones.
  • Design and implement a new app architecture using the most advanced and suitable tech stacks and tools for the project.
  • Manage an internal team of 3-5 developers.
  • Coordinate remote IT teams and outsourcing vendors.
  • Review code quality and performance of the IT Team, including remote workers.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience managing IT projects in a mid-size company.
  • Computer science or similar university degree.
  • Experience in designing and developing web apps in e-commerce environments.
  • Review tech quality.
  • Fluent in English or French.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Team leader and player of internal and remote IT Teams.
  • Integrity, respect, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Self-disciplined and able to self-manage and set goals.
  • Presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Report writing and document management.
