About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Instrumentation organization in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling Rust and Go clients/projects as well as their support tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Rust and Go codebases.
  • Contribute to Open Source projects, including OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with team members to discuss and implement service improvements.
  • Ship incrementally and often, ensuring a constant flow of feedback on work.
  • Work in an agile environment with a DevOps approach.
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in software development, with a focus on open source software, Linux systems, and Rust programming language.
  • Autonomous, cross-functional, and agile, with a passion for delivering high-quality software at a regular cadence.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong ability to learn, stay accountable, and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing instrumentation products and upstream contributions to relevant Open Source projects.
