Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our Engineering System & Support (ESS) team at King Digital Entertainment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale systems, ensuring a high-quality Developer Experience, and contributing to the acceleration of our Game Development Lifecycle.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement large-scale system architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Puppet and Terraform.
  • Manage and optimize cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Ensure seamless integration with development services, such as Git, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, and Groovy for automation and task management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in system engineering, infrastructure management, and DevOps.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools, such as Puppet and Terraform.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Groovy.
  • Experience with development services, including Git, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
