Understanding Underwriting

As an underwriting professional, you will learn to utilize advanced tools to determine the risks Chubb can help cover. You will work closely with diverse teams across the company, interacting daily with colleagues who assist in the underwriting process. Your role will involve working with clients and brokers, providing consistent and exceptional service.

Requirements and Skills
  • Native speaker or bilingual in Swedish or Danish is a must.
  • Business-level English is a must.
  • Previous experience in insurance is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience as an underwriter is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and willingness to deliver and improve the quality of our offerings.
  • Good analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities in the Chubb policy and instrument life cycle, with an interest in personal and team learning.
  • Customer-oriented aspect with good capacity for argumentation and negotiation.
