We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Amadeus team as Head of Indirect Sourcing. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating our purchasing efforts, ensuring alignment with our business strategy and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing strategy, driving value contribution to Amadeus' business
  • Manage strategic relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies and processes
  • Guide the development of category strategies, identifying future improvement possibilities and coordinating exercises to achieve yearly plans
  • Set organization targets across all categories, overseeing major projects impacting the purchasing function
  • Communicate performance expectations, guiding team members in accordance with Amadeus management principles and ensuring the purchasing organization evolves with Amadeus values and goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Extensive experience guiding multinational/multicultural teams, managing complex purchasing scopes and category management environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a dynamic organization
  • Proficiency in English, with Spanish and/or French a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, contract management tools, sourcing tools, and virtual collaboration tools
