Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for a continuous customer supplying process through an optimized distribution plan provided by the transport management system. You will adapt the plan to daily constraints (sources, drivers, trailers availability) and to the service commitments made by Air Liquide to its customers. You will analyze and close the loop after delivery to improve system inputs for optimized predictability. You will understand dispatching KPIs and define daily concrete actions to improve them.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Optimizing Deliveries
  • Identify the consumption profile of the delivery points and select potential customers to be delivered.
  • Check orders automatically integrated in the systems and take and create orders in the system for CMI (Customer Managed Inventory) customer deliveries.
  • Feed the transport management system with CMI orders, taking into account the forecasting module to generate a distribution plan in the system and organize product deliveries to internal and external customers.
  • Adapt the plan proposed by the system according to daily constraints and legal aspects.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planning by liaising with maintenance department and carriers.
  • Provide transport carriers/drivers with the planned trips, including loading and unloading points and the order in which they must be reached.
Trip Return analysis & Distribution process improvement
  • Through a continuous improvement approach, close the loop after delivery to analyze and understand exceptions.
  • Update transport management system settings for future deliveries optimizations (data adjustment).
  • Analyze KPIs to take corrective/preventive actions.
  • Assess regularly the transport management system database and identify incoherent data and correct them (data cleaning).
  • Be responsible for the dispatching workflow and continuously improve it.
  • Ensure the information collection from drivers and transfers.
On duty service
  • Participate in on duty services according to the local procedure.
