Senior DevOps Engineer for Built and Integration Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of software products and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in planning, architecture, and research around on-prem and cloud deployments.
  2. Design, develop, and deploy software components for on-prem and cloud environments.
  3. Build, package, deliver, and maintain open-source and/or in-house software components.
  4. Provide examples, documentation, and technical support related to software components.
  5. Collaborate with software engineering teams to support and extend CI/CD tooling and pipelines.
  6. Work independently with minimal supervision and may take on planning and mentoring responsibilities.
  7. Perform complex development activities that may require extensive analysis and design.
  8. Collaborate to make the team contribution greater than the sum of individual contributors.
  9. Participate in scrum meetings and interact constructively with colleagues.
Requirements
  1. BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience, MS with 3 years of experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.
  2. Expertise in devops tools used to build and test large software with many dependencies in the C/C++ ecosystem on Windows and Linux.
  3. Experience delivering pipelines in environments such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. C/C++, Rust, C#, Python programming language, interoperability between Rust and C/C++.
  2. OAuth2, OIDC, KeyCloak, Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
  3. CLI from AWS or Azure.
  4. Certifications in relevant cloud technologies.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  6. Experience delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
  7. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team.
  9. Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing.
