About the Role:

Reconocida Empresa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Syndicated Loans Administration Specialist to join our team. As an Assistant Vice President - Loan Administration, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of our loan administration operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Managers and Senior Managers in closing deals and ensuring timely completion of transactions.
  • Administer and bookkeep transactions, setting interest periods and reference interest rates as applicable.
  • Manage client responsibilities effectively, adhering to agreed client, best practice, regulatory, and statutory deadlines.
  • Calculate settlements and amounts to be paid by borrowers and lenders in accordance with agreements, including fees, interest, and principal repayments/redemptions.
  • Manage Loan Administration for various jurisdictions, including the UK, NY, Japan, and other jurisdictions with Loan Agency needs.
  • Coordinate and manage communications with borrowers, lenders, obligors, and advisers, as per financing agreements.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls required for day-to-day management of the Agency.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of instructions for payments of interest and principal from borrowers to lenders on each payment date.
  • Provide training and direct support to different jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team in developing in-house software.
  • Manage and coordinate Syndicated Guarantees Facilities and Factoring Facilities.
  • Monitor and control periodic or one-off compliance by borrowers of all obligations and compulsory actions and milestones set forth in financing agreements.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the banking/financial/legal advisory sector.
  • Experience in the banking sector is an asset.
  • Excellent work attitude, quick learner, and proficient team player.
  • Experience in Syndicated Loans Administration, ideally in agency management, is an asset, as well as review of financing contracts, knowledge of LMA contracts, calculations of loan settlements, management of participations, etc.
  • Experience with Intralinks/Debtdomain or similar loans communication tools is an advantage.
  • English is a must; fluent French and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, proactive approach, and can-do mindset.
