Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our team and support our focus on energy transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms, as well as analyzing results and providing inputs to other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms using Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) models with specific features such as snapshot, encryption, and multi-run.
  • Integrate DLLs or automatically generated code into simulation tools.
  • Test model performance and analyze results.
  • Provide inputs to other departments and support the development of automation tools to run simulations and create reports automatically.
  • Document activities, including design reports, validation reports, and user manuals.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Transmission and distribution networks, grid elements, electrical machines, harmonics analysis, transient stability, electromagnetic transients simulation, dynamic studies, and small signal stability analysis of power systems.
  • Programming skills in Fortran, C, MATLAB, and Simulink.
  • Experience with PSCAD, RSCAD, and wind turbine simulation models.
  • Grid Connection background and familiarity with grid code requirements.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or power systems engineering.
