Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms. Your expertise in power system engineering, grid elements, and power electronics will be essential in driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms using PSCAD and other simulation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model performance and accuracy.
  • Assess model performance against wind turbine capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop automation tools to run simulations and create reports automatically.
  • Document activities, design reports, validation reports, and user manuals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in power system engineering, with a focus on wind turbines and wind farms.
  • Expertise in PSCAD, Fortran, and C programming languages.
  • Knowledge of grid elements, power electronics, and electrical machines.
  • Experience with harmonics analysis, transient stability studies, and electromagnetic transients simulation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
