About the Role:
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the logistics operation within the Spanish and Portuguese markets. This role will involve working closely with third-party logistics providers and other stakeholders to ensure that costs are tightly controlled and that the customer is at the forefront of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily planning, management, and optimization of all logistics, transportation, and warehouse-related activities within the market.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and fulfillment partners to ensure exceptional levels of performance and adherence to agreed service level agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with logistics providers and manufacturing colleagues to minimize financial losses and ensure accuracy at all times.
- Develop logistics plans to accommodate periods of significant growth without disruption and ensure the supply chain is resilient to changes in market conditions and peak trading activity.
- Ensure tight cost control at all times and work with stakeholders to influence strategy and ensure execution against agreed manufacturing goals.
- Focus on increasing net promoter scores and reducing customer care contact ratios.
- Manage inter-site transfer and haulage requirements as needed.
