About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Master Data Management Lead to join our Data Digital and IT team at Novartis Farmacéutica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing critical Master Data Management (MDM) projects and operations within the Data Digital and IT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of MDM solutions, primarily using Reltio as the MDM engine, Snowflake, and AWS.
  • Ensure that services, solutions, platforms, and products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.
  • Run efficient development for MDM solutions and ensure that all deployed code and configuration are of high quality and follow appropriate SDLC processes.
  • Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders within your remit.
  • Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness, ensuring the overall user experience is considered when designing, deploying new solutions and services.
  • Integrate MDM solutions into our data mesh and ensure alignment to Security and Compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering, or information technology discipline.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in a highly qualified function, including experience as a technology and solution delivery lead within Commercial IT.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Master Data Management solutions, preferably with Reltio in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with Commercial data and relationships between data entities is highly desirable.
  • Experience of working effectively with multiple and complex projects in a matrix organization to deliver results with quality and on time within budget.
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.
  • Effective communications style with the ability to influence local and global teams and increase the awareness of the value creation of solutions you are implementing.
