Senior Tech Lead for Music Industry Operating System

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tech Lead to join our team at BMAT Music Innovators. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our Pronto engineering product team and ensuring the successful delivery of our Operating System for the Music Industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Pronto Engineering Product Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy our Operating System for the Music Industry.
- Manage Technical Teams: You will manage technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Redesign and Refactor Existing Systems: You will redesign and refactor existing systems to improve performance and scalability.
- Communicate Effectively: You will communicate effectively with remote team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Identify Areas for Improvement: You will proactively identify areas for system scaling and improvement.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: You will conduct performance reviews and participate in hiring processes.
- 6+ Years of Experience as a Software Engineer: You will have a minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
- 2+ Years of Experience in a Leadership Role: You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong Knowledge of Python: You will have strong knowledge of Python and experience with async Python code.
- Experience with SQL Databases: You will have experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Distributed Systems: You will have experience with designing distributed systems, including experience with AWS Batch and Redis RQ.
- Experience with Brokers: You will have experience with brokers, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Cache: You will have experience with cache, including Redis.
- Good Communication Skills: You will have good communication skills, especially written communication.
- Proactive Mindset and Leadership Abilities: You will have a proactive mindset and leadership abilities.
English: fully proficient or fluent; Spanish/Catalan a plus.
