Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team at Okto. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Director of Finance and provide strategic financial guidance.
  • Develop and implement budget and forecasting procedures to drive business growth.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with local accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, company policies, and tax laws.
  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to drive financial efficiency.
  • Support cash flow management and financial planning.
  • Participate in finance projects, such as system implementation and reporting changes.
  • Perform market research, data analysis, and business intelligence to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Post-graduate studies in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English language.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards and management accounting principles.
  • 5+ years of overall finance experience, preferably in Fintech, Financial Services, IT, or Betting industry.
  • User experience with ERP and Accounting Software.
  • Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
