Join Our Team as a Data Analyst

Boston Consulting Group is a global management consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of our Analytics and Automation (AA) team, working closely with consulting teams on a diverse range of advanced analytics topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver original analysis and insights to case teams, owning all or part of an analytics module.
  • Establish credibility by thought partnering with case teams on analytics topics.
  • Execute analytical approaches and create defined outcomes.
  • Apply analytical, statistical, and programming skills to build models and discover knowledge from data sources.
  • Wrap the outcomes of analysis into ready-to-use software modules.
  • Train project and client teams on advanced analytics approaches.
  • Communicate analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results.
  • Develop broad expertise in at least one analytics topic or platform.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical solutioning skills with hands-on experience in advanced analytics delivery.
  • Technical skills: experience in Business Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning, or Optimization; proficiency in Data Cleansing, Data Transformation, and Data Modelling; overall fluency in Python; data wrangling with Python (pandas, numpy, etc.) and hands-on experience with data visualization; SQL scripting and ability to collect data from relational databases; hands-on experience in dashboarding using Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikSense.
  • Nice to have technical skills: experience in GenAI, programmatically using ChatGPT or other LLMs; experience in building scalable production-ready dashboards and web applications; experience with collaboration within agile projects; understanding of containerization and automated deployment; experience with cloud architectures and machine learning platforms; experience with UI/UX Design.
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar.
  • 1 - 3 years within relevant domain of Advanced Analytics and Software Development across industries.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
