About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating cyber security threats to our web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to security incidents, identifying and mitigating potential threats to our web applications.
- Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures to prevent cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our web applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.
- Mentor and train junior team members on security best practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security role, with a focus on application security.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and standards, including OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and web application firewalls.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and risk management frameworks.
