Java Developer Job Description

Amaris Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality Java applications and microservices, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand and implement technical requirements.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • System Optimization: Optimize and enhance existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Microservices Experience: Strong experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
  • Spring Boot Experience: Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related technologies.
  • RESTful API Experience: Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Database Experience: Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • Version Control Experience: Proficient in using Git for version control.
  • Testing Experience: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
