YOUR ROLE
Collaborate with the technical team to develop both basic and detailed engineering solutions focused on instrumentation for electrolyzers. This includes creating design criteria, equipment specifications, and signal lists.
Analyze and interpret mechanical diagrams, particularly P&IDs, to ensure accurate integration of instrumentation.
Engage in the integration of instruments within subsystems across various power scales.
Responsible for sizing proportional valves to meet operational requirements.
Prepare requisitions for the procurement of equipment and components related to instrumentation.
Conduct evaluations and monitor proposals for equipment and instruments utilized in electrolysis systems.
Draft essential documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports stemming from engineering activities.
Assist in defining control strategies for equipment used in hydrogen production.
Support the development of reports related to research project proposals and associated investment budgets.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in chemical, industrial, or electrical engineering is required.
Proficient knowledge in areas such as explosive atmospheres (ATEX), PLC architectures, instrumentation software, and hydrogen technologies is highly valued.
Fluency in English is essential.
Demonstrated ability to present information effectively and manage meetings with international suppliers and clients.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles focused on instrumentation for equipment and/or plants is expected.
Familiarity with PLC architecture and its integration with instrumentation is crucial.
Experience in the assembly and commissioning of new installations, alongside technical office work, is advantageous.
Participation in research initiatives with national or European universities and consortia related to engineering development is a plus.
