Job Summary

As a Server at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards
• Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
• Record transactions in our point-of-sale system and process payments
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights
• Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments

Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
