About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Entrepreneur in Residence to join our team at Mobile World Capital. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our founding team to create a business strategy for our emerging spin-off, FORESEE.

About FORESEE

FORESEE is a novel intravascular microsensing platform that measures multiple parameters in a single device to obtain a complete patient profile, substantially improving the management of Heart Failure (HF) patients and their quality of life.

As Entrepreneur in Residence, you will work alongside our project coordinator and strategy coordinator to consolidate and implement the business plan, ensuring that the spin-off will be fully functional and prepared for a smooth transition from academia to industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the founding team to create a business strategy for FORESEE.
  2. Consolidate and submit to Universitat Pompeu Fabra all the documentation required for the creation of the spin-off.
  3. Work alongside the CEO in the seed round, bringing your knowledge and experience to successfully complete it.
  4. Accelerate validation and regulatory approval to perform the first-in-human trials.
Requirements
  1. Masters degree in business administration, economics, finance, or marketing and/or 5+ years of experience as a business developer.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Class III medical devices projects, preferably in implantable medical devices.
  3. Demonstrated experience in project management and public and private fundraising.
  4. Proficiency in spoken and written English and an entrepreneurial mindset.
