About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Editor to join our team at DAZN, a leading global sports entertainment platform. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that drives brand awareness, loyalty, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Content Strategy: Work with our VP Content Proposition to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our Top-of-the-funnel (TOTF) objectives, ensuring all customer-facing channels and content are editorially and commercially aligned.
- Content Creation and Editing: Create and edit engaging content, including headlines, descriptions, and imagery, for all live events and non-live content, identifying key events and content to target new customers in an impactful and engaging way.
- Editorial Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of all content on the DAZN app, both on the front and back end, and work closely with our global platform teams to align on TOTF strategy and assist in implementing the approach.
- Analytics and Reporting: Run weekly and monthly schedules on Free to Air events to help enable Marketing and CRM strategy around promotion of these live events, and analyze engagement data to drive strategy.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Rights Acquisition to ensure new content is considered and presented to all authorized and unauthorized users across our platforms, and collaborate with our global chief editors to coordinate the TOTF proposition.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of a variety of sports, including European Football, Combat, and Motorsports.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong instinct for what engages an audience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze engagement data and drive strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
