Job Summary
Lomartov is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager for European Projects to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting and executing the financial and administrative justification of European projects, as well as private contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial reports for our European projects, including personnel costs, travel, and other expenses.
- Classify necessary information and collaborate with coordinators and financial departments of project coordinating entities.
- Guide and supervise the accounting and billing department for accurate allocation and justification of project expenses.
- Prepare annual and project-based external economic audits.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of European programs, including preparation and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Prepare periodic reports for the coordination and management board of Lomartov on the financial situation of European projects.
- Develop recommendations for optimizing resources, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency in the implementation of European projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a manager/financial/administrative assistant of European projects or in a similar equivalent position.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial auditing, with at least 5 years.
- Advanced knowledge in the justification of European projects and audits.
- Experience in Horizon Europe, H2020, and other European programs such as Interreg EU or LIFE+.
- Excellent level of Spanish and English (C1/C2 level in both languages).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's and master's degrees in the field of economics and finance.
- Analytical capacity for optimizing resources in research and development projects.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to different sectors.
- Ready to take on new challenges, work under pressure, and meet EU deadlines.
