Senior Medical Editor

At Syneos Health, we're passionate about developing innovative solutions to accelerate customer success. As a Senior Medical Editor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our medical writing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain expertise in FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the editorial group in Medical Writing, on study teams, and in cross-departmental project teams as needed.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing updates to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to medical writers and editors, conducting training and mentoring as required.
  • Lead complex medical writing projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of high-quality documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, or English/journalism; or relevant publishing experience.
  • Significant experience in medical writing, editing, or publishing, with expertise in Adobe Acrobat or other markup languages.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with FDA and EU requirements, ICH regulations, and ISO standards is preferred.
