Your MissionAs a key member of our Engineering and Operations teams, you will contribute to defining the future of our company, sharing your expertise, and driving projects to success. Your focus will be on leading a highly-skilled DevOps team, creating new tools to reduce development bottlenecks, and standardizing processes to ensure alignment across teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of talented engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and leadership to ensure they meet and exceed company expectations.
- Plan and organize team work, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are accomplished.
- Represent the team, providing advice and knowledge for critical changes, migrations, and resource allocation.
- Support engineering teams in becoming high-performance, autonomous teams, focusing on DevOps culture, processes, principles, and behaviors.
- Coordinate during incidents and migrations.
- Experience leading teams and coaching them to reach their highest potential.
- Ability to adapt to a highly changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps culture and methodologies, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them to stakeholders and non-technical people.
- Experience working with Kubernetes on high-load systems, including Service Mesh, OpenPolicy agents, observability tooling, and provisioning systems like Ansible or Terraform.
- Knowledge of public and private clouds, including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and VMWare.
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment concepts and tools.
- Understanding of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Basic programming knowledge, including an understanding of code and coding concepts, as well as advanced knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl, and Ruby.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver results under strict SLAs.
