Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Finance Specialist to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of marketing finance transactions and associated processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support to marketing managers to ensure that plans remain financially compliant.
  • Assist marketing managers with the preparation of financial plans and forecasts.
  • Process vendor claims and ensure that all required proof of performance is present and consistent with vendor guidelines.
  • Create purchase orders for external marketing service providers.
  • Investigate specific financial transactions and resolve associated queries.
  • Check cost and revenue postings in our financial system to assist with clearing down aged transactions.
  • Communicate process updates across the marketing team.
  • Liaise with our internal shared service marketing finance team.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a financial or commercial environment.
  • Relevant financial experience and knowledge of accruals and deferrals.
  • Exposure to monthly and quarterly financial reporting and associated review processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking and pressured environment.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and with colleagues located in multiple locations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to evaluate and make recommendations to enhance the team's operational efficiency.
  • Ability to interact openly and directly with others.
  • Ability to manage interactions with vendors, suppliers, and internal customers.
  • High degree of numeracy and attention to detail.
