Software Tester

We are seeking a skilled Manual Testing Specialist to join our team at Techlens Global. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

• Perform functional testing, system testing, and end-to-end product testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Design and execute test cases, document and analyze test results, and maintain records of testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute against plans and meet common goals and objectives.
• Regularly update Microsoft TFS with all tasks and activities performed with respect to builds.
• Stay up-to-date with industry quality standards and protocols and make recommendations to enhance results.
• Document all activities related to testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Assist leadership in reviewing processes and procedures, identifying gaps, and suggesting solutions.
• Identify and communicate defects and ambiguities at all levels from requirements through implementation.
• Understand manual test cases and logical functional flows of the product and automate flows and scenarios.
• Support build deployments.

• Graduate with experience in testing.
• Experience in web application testing (functional, GUI, system testing).
• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Coded UI, etc.
• Eagerness to share knowledge and be willing to help out in times of crisis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize assignments and unplanned issues.
• Familiarity with project management tools like MS TFS, Jira, Mantis, etc.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Hands-on experience in testing APIs and web services will be an added advantage.
