About the Role
This is a hands-on expert position that requires advanced-level engineering knowledge of Electronics/Electromagnetics, specifically EMC/EMI, HF-RF, and SI simulation techniques. You will provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate technical mastery and knowledge of Electronics/Electromagnetics to provide high-quality technical support to customers and channel partners.
- Own customer problems and proactively engage with selected accounts to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Work independently and contribute to all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Interact with customers to understand their business needs, product design needs, and engineering design workflows.
- Articulate Ansys' value proposition and instruct introductory training classes.
- Contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects, including collaborative work with other field engineers.
- Gather customer requirements to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with product development teams.
- Test new releases on industrial problems.
- Participate in internal corporate initiatives to share knowledge and create best practices.
Requirements
- BS or MS or PhD in Electromagnetics-Electrical-Electronics, HF/RF/SI-EMC/EMI Engineering or a related field.
- BS+0 years of professional experience in an engineering environment.
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
