Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Bartender to join our team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our beverage team, you will be responsible for leading our bar operations, creating innovative cocktails, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional bartending skills and knowledge of spirits, mixers, and garnishes to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Cocktail Creation: Develop and implement new cocktail recipes that align with our brand identity and current beverage trends.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor bartenders on our unique recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation standards to ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee cash handling procedures, register reconciliation, and inventory management to ensure accurate records and efficient operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure our drinks and food are a match made in heaven.

Requirements:

  • Experience: +2 years of experience in hospitality within beverage.
  • Spirits Knowledge: Strong spirits knowledge and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and make effective decisions.
