**Senior Business Consultant - Accounting**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team at SimCorp A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising and assisting clients with the use of SimCorp Dimension in their daily operational work.
Key Responsibilities- **Client Advisory**: Provide expert guidance to clients on the effective use of SimCorp Dimension, identifying areas for process improvement and optimizing system configuration.
- **Workshop Facilitation**: Conduct workshops to explore client requirements, working closely with clients and the SimCorp team to capture, define, and suggest tailored solutions.
- **Configuration and Testing**: Build, deliver, and test configuration work in aspects of SimCorp Dimension based on client requirements, primarily in fund accounting and accounting.
- **Process Improvement**: Advise clients on process improvements through better use of SimCorp Dimension, contributing to the development of best practices for implementations.
- **Project Coordination**: Follow the budget of your stream and coordinate the team you work with to ensure successful project delivery.
- **Knowledge Sharing**: Contribute to the knowledge sharing within service line projects and tasks, expanding your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business to ensure optimal value/outcome.
- **Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science**: A degree in a relevant field, such as economics, mathematics, or computer science.
- **Work Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant from asset managers, asset servicers, insurance, or consulting firms.
- **Investment Accounting Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of investment accounting within Europe, including IAS39, IFRS9, and local GAAP.
- **Software Implementation**: Familiarity with the implementation of software similar to SimCorp Dimension.
- **Analytical and Communication Skills**: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in English, with other languages a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, German, etc.).
