Job Title: Chief of Fire Emergency Services

At KBR, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief of Fire Emergency Services to lead our fire protection team in Spain.

Job Summary:

The Chief of Fire Emergency Services will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing department policy, directing and coordinating department operations, and reviewing and developing departmental training. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire service, with at least 15 years of experience, including 5 years as Fire Chief or Deputy Chief.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement emergency operations plans for the department
  • Coordinate departmental budget and resources
  • Direct and coordinate department operations, including firefighting, rescue services, and hazardous materials incidents
  • Develop and maintain fire prevention and protection plans and programs
  • Assume full charge at crashes, fires, or emergency situations, directing activities and personnel
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in fire technology
  • 15 years of fire protection experience, including 5 years as Fire Chief or Deputy Chief
  • Experience in managing fire prevention and protection plans and programs
  • Knowledge of the chemistry of fire, preventive maintenance, and operations of firefighting and rescue equipment
