Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will work within one of our platform engineering teams to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our customers and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a team of SREs to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications
  • Utilize observability tools to gain insights into system performance and health
  • Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency
  • Perform on-call duties to address high-severity incidents
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and reliability
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies related to SRE and infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Several years of relevant industry experience building large scale distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment patterns on GCP or AWS
  • Experience operating web-scale deployments of containerised systems
  • A deep understanding of programming languages and systems
  • A passion for architecting large systems with scalable interfaces
  • A hunger for tracking down root causes and fixing them systematically
  • A love for writing code - primarily using Python
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements is a plus
