The role involves assisting the Public Relations Division in various capacities, nurturing positive connections with media outlets, and managing essential administrative functions as required.
Primary Duties
- Regular monitoring of media coverage and preparation of press summaries
- Reports on premieres and media coverage for each film
- Overseeing the virtual press room operations
- Organizing and coordinating press screenings
- Managing distribution of press materials
- Maintaining relationships with vendors
- Collaborating with the Publicity Coordinator to execute the online communication strategy and social media initiatives
- Assisting in departmental activities: media relations, screenings, press events, organization of materials, visits, and events
- Providing administrative support to the Publicity Manager
- Contributing to other marketing department functions
- Tracking invoices and managing the SAP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, or Marketing
- Familiarity with the Spanish media landscape
- Proficient in English
- Passion for and knowledge of the film industry
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of internet and social media platforms
- Full-time availability
- Proactive, communicative, and a strong collaborator
- Creative with exceptional organizational abilities
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Recent graduates (within the last 3 years) are encouraged to apply
