Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Real-Time Software Engineer to join our growing R&D team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, integrating, and maintaining quality firmware for our Personal Mobility products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality firmware for our e-powertrain systems using best practices like unit testing and Agile methodologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electronics, mechanics, and hardware, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our products.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain and develop a high level of technical expertise and knowledge within the team, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Work in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced development environment, utilizing your problem-solving skills to overcome complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in bare-metal programming in C, with a strong background in embedded systems development.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the automotive industry, with a focus on e-powertrain systems and electric vehicles.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ARM architecture, embedded system hardware peripheral blocks, and communication protocols, including GPIO, ADC, DMA, UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN Bus.
- Debugging Tools: Experience working with Logic Analyzer / Oscilloscope for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, with experience in using Git / GitHub source control.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and a self-learner with a passion for new technologies.
