Your Role as a Total Rewards Manager
We are seeking a skilled Total Rewards Manager to lead our total rewards strategy, focusing on both compensation and benefits. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention. You will be involved in the development and execution of executive compensation plans, long-term incentive programs, and comprehensive total rewards frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Compensation Management
- Design and oversee executive compensation structures, including both short- and long-term incentive plans.
- Prepare detailed compensation reports and present recommendations to the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee.
Total Rewards Strategy Development
- Create and implement holistic total rewards programs encompassing base salary, incentives, benefits, and recognition initiatives.
- Ensure that total rewards strategies are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our organizational objectives.
- Effectively communicate total rewards offerings to employees to foster understanding and engagement.
Salary Review and Market Benchmarking
- Lead annual salary review processes to maintain competitiveness and alignment with market standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and benchmarking to inform salary structures.
- Provide strategic recommendations for salary adjustments based on performance metrics and market data.
Variable Compensation Design
- Develop and implement variable compensation programs, including sales incentives and performance-based bonuses.
- Analyze the effectiveness of these programs and make data-driven adjustments to enhance motivation and performance.
- Ensure alignment of variable compensation schemes with business goals and market practices.
Job Evaluation and Compliance
- Conduct thorough job analyses and evaluations in collaboration with department leaders.
- Design and manage the merit increase process to ensure fairness and transparency.
- Develop and update compensation and benefits policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Who You Are
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; additional qualifications such as an MBA are advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proven experience in designing and managing variable compensation programs.
- Familiarity with HRIS and compensation analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A results-driven team player capable of collaborating across functions.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
