The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Critical Systems team in Madrid and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for high-profile data centre and critical systems projects in the UK and internationally.
As part of our established team of expert engineers, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to prepare scheme and detailed designs from feasibility and concept through to detailed engineering design and site support.
You will also have the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, working closely with colleagues to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects, and will be supported towards chartership.
The SkillsWe're looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer with a degree-level qualification and experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a data centre/critical system and building services context.
You should have a proven ability to deliver creative design solutions, prepare specifications and project reports, carry out site inspections and surveys, and a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Excellent communication skills in English and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential for this role.
