Job Title: Decommissioning Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Decommissioning Planning Engineer to join our team at Tecnatom S.A.U. in Spain. As a key member of our decommissioning team, you will be responsible for planning and executing decommissioning activities for nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Licensing and planning support during decommissioning and dismantling activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities.
  • Support in groundwater modeling and analysis within decommissioning activities for complete nuclear plants and facilities.
  • Understanding of radiological characterization, segmentation techniques, in-plant materials lifting, handling, sorting, and packaging according to nuclear requirements.
  • Working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and supervising execution activities in the field.
Requirements:
  • Education at university level in engineering or science.
  • Additional training or specialization in the nuclear field is valuable.
  • Some experience in nuclear facilities decommissioning processes is required.
  • Knowledge of groundwater science in decommissioning environments is beneficial.
  • Good writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English are required; German is a benefit.
