About the Role

Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona (ISGlobal) is a leading research institution addressing global public health challenges through innovative research, policy translation, and education. We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to our cutting-edge research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support in molecular data analysis using various bioinformatic tools and interpret results
  • Design and write high-quality scientific papers, including manuscripts and grants
  • Analyze and interpret genomic, transcriptomic, and clinical data
  • Contribute to the supervision of junior team members and participate in scientific discussions

Requirements

  • PhD in Translational Medicine, Biology, Biomedicine, or related discipline
  • Masters in Bioinformatics or related training
  • Advanced skills in R software and statistics
  • Experience in designing and writing high-quality scientific papers
  • Previous research expertise in analyzing exome sequencing and gene expression data
