The R&D division at IQU has been delivering comprehensive solutions and services in the realm of Internet and Telecommunications, catering to organizations and institutions that leverage information and communication technologies across commercial, marketing, management, and business communication sectors. IQU's R&D is dedicated to advancing a "next generation of tools for system-level evaluation of wireless integrated communication systems" to facilitate the digital transformation of society.
The R&D team is currently seeking a Researcher to contribute to H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. The role will involve analytical assessments of proposed solutions and conducting proof of concepts on in-house experimental platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a PhD or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Develop software for innovative research projects focused on 5G/6G Network and Service management, Zero Touch Networks, and Data-Driven Communications utilizing AI/ML, along with experimental validation.
- Engage with cutting-edge technology validated on our proprietary experimental 5G platforms.
- Participate in challenging R&D projects related to 5G/6G and IoT, representing the company in project meetings and research initiatives.
- Showcase IQU at prominent exhibitions and conferences.
Position 1: Cloud or Software Engineer
- Proficient in Linux server operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-native principles (Docker, container networking, or Kubernetes).
- Preferred programming language: Python.
- Experience with Git, Terraform, and Ansible is advantageous.
Position 2: Network Engineer
- Strong understanding of fundamental networking principles and protocols.
- Ability to configure hardware and network devices such as routers and switches.
- Knowledge of 4G/5G architecture is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with OpenStack or cloud deployment technologies.
- Experience in provisioning and managing Virtual Machines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Expertise in application deployment using CI/CD pipelines.

The rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience, ranging from 25k to 42k.
