About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Base-Building Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and improving electrical system maintenance programs and policies, as well as conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with local codes and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations, including audits of existing programs in compliance with local codes and global standards.
  • Partner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders in changes to the electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements as applicable, including system inspections and testing.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications, and inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing, and audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
  • Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions, and monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systems.
  • Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance and impairment programs at new operations locations, and develop and implement procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a technical support to operations role for electrical distribution systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience solving problems at a continent or global scale.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with power system electrical testing.
